Although its been said many times many ways

Since it is Christmas, I wanted to put up a some pictures of our decorations! These are just a few out of very  many going on in our very christmasy house. I will post my gifts, and more photos from Christmas later, but I just wanted to post this quickly before bed. I had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you did too xox 

I'm just waiting till' the shine wears off

This photo shows the things I love/have been loving during the colder months! Big sweaters are a must, especially if you live in canada like me. Infinity scarves are my favourite thing to wear this winter, im obsessed. I've been wearing my hair in a ponytail which I never used to, but my hair has gotten quite long so I can wear it high with it still looking long. I actually think the simple high ponytail is so cute and sleek! Dark nails for winter are a must, and of course so is a hot drink from starbucks! Perfect. 

Baby you have become my addiction

My outfit of the day consisted of a big knit sweater, distressed skinny jeans and a silver cuff. I have been wearing knits all week! 

It's the Holiday Season

My nails of the day, inspired by all of the red and gold decorations currently in my house. I never do anything interesting with my nails, so this is a big step up for me haha! xo

If only, If only...

These pair of old Doc Martens were my aunts I think, and they somehow ended up with my mom a long time ago! Unfortunately they are too big for me to wear and make my feet look massive! My mom also kept an army green pair which fit me, but I do wish that these fit me as well so I could wear them! They stay displayed in my room for now as I wait for they day they magically fit me. 

Rant

I tired of hearing people complain about how bad their life is every single day and getting people to feel bad for them. I'm tired of people saying how hard their life is and how unhappy they are and how they want to kill themselves. I'm tired of people going on and on about how they hate the way they look and how they hurt themselves because of it. Take a look around you, you have food, you have a house, you have some sort of family. You have plenty to be thankful for. Everyone has things going on in their lives, no ones life is perfect. Someone always has it worse than you do, their is kids without a home, without clean water, and without food. You need to realize that your "problems" when put in a big scheme of things really just might not be that bad. Sure, everyone can find something to complain about, everyone does it, but we shouldn't. We are so blessed. So, our life isn't perfect... no ones is. Bad things happen... but bad things happen to everyone. We need to accept it, move on, and learn to be happy with what we have.

Definitely my favourite accessory of the season would have to be infinity scarfs! I wear one pretty much every day and adore them. I currently only have two, but I'm hoping for big chunky warm ones for christmas!
